When you measure your waist is it measured at your bellybutton or your hips?

Either way, I get the same reading.. Normally, it's where your pants go across, that would be your waist... I like to wear my pants low abit, not sagging, so I measure around that area, and up near the navel.. ;)

K, just curious. Cause at navel it's 27" sucked in, like 29-30 regular. But around the hips it's 34".
