It's up to you, but I'd let it ride a day or two and see what develops. If it spreads farther out and you don't feel so hot, then go to the md.

you gotta know someone that has some penecillin or something in their med cabinets. I think i remember my boy taking ibuprofin when his shoulder got inflamed from an injection and he said it helped. Maybe it just helped with the pain, but im not sure. Keep checking your glands and shit too, if you have no other symptoms, it may just be a reaction to the BA in the test......I would try and take some antibiotics just in case, but def hold off on the doc if you can.....your health insurance will fuck you over in the long wrong if you have this shit in your files.

I always forget the name of this .. but at any pet store that sells fish there is an anti biotic for fish gill rot that is the same stuff doctors give out ... also if you end up going to the doc tell him it was a b12 injection, best way around it.

                  hey

Hey Bud. What does the area you injected look like. Is there any visible inflamed lines running down to your knee. Could you have done something to your knee thats not related. did you do legs that day. Don't wait to long to see the Doc if it gets to bad. Ttell them you bumped into a nail that was sticking out of a board. They will probably give you a tetness shot and some anti biotics. Stay cool. Oh. The ibuprofin will keep the inflamation down but that may not be what you want. You want to see what is wrong. Good luck

The spider bite idea wont get you far. The Doc will start asking questions about the spider and the details about the bite...one lie after another and the next thing you know your story is all messed up.

                        Dude,

First of all, the spider bite idea is a little weak. Doctors aren't stupid and they ALL have doctor friends that have most likely worked with someone who has taken steroids. They know.

Second. Your personal medical records cannot be made public to anyone unless subpoenaed by a court or if it is specifically "treatment related." That is the law. It's called HIPAA.

That is one of the reasons why Insurance Companies have their own screening process. Otherwise, they would just get a copy of your medical records.

Just wait another day and see what happens. Apply some heat and massage the area. You may also want to rub some aspirin on the area.

As far as Ibuprofin. That is an antiinflamatory and has NO antibiotic properties what-so-ever.

Bottom line is this. If you are THAT concerned. See a doc. Simple as that. And if you really want to, see a doctor that has dealt with Steroid use before.

                        Good luck Bro.

                        Cheers!

                        ;)

I had this same thing happen when I did my first quad shot.

First thing everytime I shoot the site is a bit red and warm (always with glutes). It always goes a way in few days.

With my first quad shot I injected too low on the quad and the next day it hurt like hell. all in my knee not at the site location. it went a way in a few days. now I always shot a bit higher mid thigh and haven't had that problem since.

If it pops up in the first few days it is a reaction to the dose. Infections take alot longer to get going (usually a week).

Sometimes you don't get all the way into the muscle and it spreads down between skin/fat layer and the muscle, irritating everything
