From a natty, I really appreciate the honesty and frankness of those who use and realize the dangers and those who blindly use with no regard to the potential dangers. It makes me realize I really need to just continue to do as much as I can without gear. I suppose I've only been lifting for 2+yrs anyway-I'm probably not ready anyway, but now I'm rambling.

Anyway, thanks for the honest posts.

If you put too much stress on the body it's going to turn on you. As I said earlier in this thread AS can definitely HELP you get where you want to but I as well as others cannot stress the importance of eating. I have a friend who is roughly 6'1" and weighed about 230. He had taken anabolics before as well and he was very lean, but just recently he's been focusing more on food than anything and in 3 months put on 35lbs. and is weighing 265. He eats every hour and a half on the dot. AS will help you grow but food will make you grow. 10-12 week cycle or maybe even a couple weeks longer in my opinion should be as long as you run AS. I am just completely baffled why cycles sometimes stretch way beyond that time frame. Your body needs a break and your receptors do too, not to mention the negative affects that will accompany your natural test. levels and other health problems. Like I said, I just don't get it. I know bouncer will get through this but this should be an example for all of those who want to run these long cycles, don't do it guys, bouncer will get through it, maybe you won't....

this site has been such a help to me, being a novice and having only done three cycles with the last one lasting a lot longer than it should have. i totally understand everything stated. the mind set is extremely addictive and you feel like shit when not on so you go back on and then it just compounds and the next thing you know it has been a year. i am extremely glad one of you had the nuts to state all the problems with this. since i have been down this road, i have now seen depression, anxiety, and anger. Alot more when off now then when i was on. All of these are things nobody tells the noobies. thank you all for stepping up to bat, and telling the truth about yourselves, shows there is a deep concern for the health of others. A real group of men here, great guys.

Bounce, you will mak it thru no probs. . .just because of the fact that you realise you needed to get off and stay off for a while. . .I have had to stay off for over 4 months for other reasons and it gets easier; after a while you will suddenly not be thinking about how big and strong you are etc.. .your true friends also come out of the woodwork to support you:)
                    keep it up.

Wow...did I pick the right post to read coming back to SM!

Never been an abuser and haven't even done a cycle in over 10 months, but I've been addicted and needing it and obsessing about doing another cycle since last year.

You guys are great...The posts are right on, and they tell me I need to worry alot more about my attitude toward my body and the juice than just the medical side of the equation.

It's good to see that there are some people that actually care about each other here. I'm new to the site, but not new to the scene. I appreciate you being so candid, Bouncer! I pray that you come out of this with the wisdom not to do that to yourself again!!! To everyone else: Keep up the awesome work on this site! I've never been on a site where you could be so honest. This site has a family feel to it and I'm glad that I am here!!!
