I know its not a reality (that steroids would be legalized) and you seem to continually miss that point. Its the why! The point of my post was to tell you how hypocritical it is. Where we draw the line isn't based on rational testing, etc. Its not based on how safe something is or how much of a gateway drug something is. Its based on what is good for politicians, not the country. THAT IS ALL! Your argument that is flawed and not the reason steroids are illegal. Steroids are illegal because of history and political influence. :breakit::breakit::breakit:

Um, did you miss my original post or was it just too long to read? Making this personal does nothing for your lackluster argument my friend. I cant believe this is even an argument. If you really believe steroids are illegal due to political special interests or because of history, you should probably go back and seek a fundamental education. Steroids are a controlled drug and have just as many potential side effects as they do benefits. Perhaps the politicians are looking out for kids, or people who have no idea what steroids bring. Not everyone in this country visits this site or other bodybuilding sites and are educated on the use of steroids. I still see steroid information passed around this board that is hilarious, completely inaccurate.

Keep coming with the off-the-wall political conspiracy theory's to keep America small and weak and Ill keep laughing. Youre an entertaining fellow.

Welcome to America. How about instead of legalizing steroids, we implement dietetic programs in rural America? Or increase nutrition education in schools?

you can direct your point at yourself because you are the one that brought it up.

again though, you kind of take my point and twist it around. you were talking about how you would be pissed if you had to wait in line behind some steroid user at the doctor. as if you don't have to wait behind a million assholes now. like you said, the % of steroids users is very small in the US so i doubt the line to the doctor would increase very much.

My point is exactly that. Where are they looking out for the kids, or anyone for that matter, where cigarettes are concerned? Its hypocritical for the government to say it is protecting us when they allow SO many other things with only NEGATIVE health effects to be legal. If steroids producers were routed as deeply in our countries business cycle as cigarette companies are then you would be singing a different song. That was one point you made originally, right? That economically because of the way our country developed, the tobacco industry has a much larger affect on our GDP than steroid manufacturers? True by the way. It is because of history and how our country developed. I suppose that is some crack pot theory. That the way a countries infrastructure develops directly affects the politicians and laws... Well, no I don't believe steroids are illegal because of special interest groups. They are illegal because of misinformation and lack of information...and yes fear. However, special interest groups, IE tobacco companies, etc.; are the reason cigarettes are still legal. Companies like Phillip Morris would most certainly survive without the tobacco industry considering all the other investments the company holds. The economy would take a hit, but it would not be so severe, nor does an economic hit really justify to me saving lives.

Finally, if I made some remarks that were attacking you I'm sorry. I just don't believe a lot of your argument. That is all I was trying to say. So, I'm sorry if I said something demeaning to you. I honestly didn't mean it that way. Sometimes I'm not the best at communicating online though. Lack of inflection and all.

All and all I think we agree for the most part, just not about the why. You can say you're older and have more experience. That one day I will 'come around'. However, I hope that never happens because that will mean that I believe what the govt. pushes as the whole, complete truth.

I wont argue that, Im not sure ANYONE would disagree. Im certainly not saying this country is perfect and I agree with everything, but someone has to play for the governments team :)

Sure, but theyre not. This country (at least my side of it) was raised on tobacco farms. I dont smoke, and I dont agree with smoking but honestly, theres not much that can be done.

I can buy that. But people in this country arent doing a very good job of changing the general opinion.

A lot of things posted in this steroid forum and others is popular opinion and whats been done through the years, does that make it wrong? No, but scientifically a lot of the information is inaccurate. People know they need to use PCT, clomid or what have you, but do they REALLY know why? or is it because someone said they need to. See what I mean? There are no steroid experts around anymore.

No, I'm not calling you old. I've just been told too many times I'm a naive college student who doesn't know shit about the real world, etc., etc. and I kinda expected to hear that.

So, do you see what I think it is hypocritical? I understand the reality of the situation, it just makes me sick. Don't believe the gov't is actually trying to help me...
