  • ok so little update. I took .5 mg for about 5 weeks. My left lump disappeared but my areola is still puffy. No pain.
Right nipple still has a small marble size lump under it and is slightly painful. Areola is still puffy as well.

Should I keep taking it at the same dosage?

Im in decent physical shape, but its hard to tell how much of it is chest muscle and how much is from the gyno..
I've seen surgical videos on youtube where theres HUGE lumps removed from patients.

      • You running letro? I would keep at it till it is about gone then taper off. Could take a couple months. How are you feeling? Letro tends to kill all estrogen leaving people feeling like total shit. Also there tends to be more gyno than what people think. Closest way to tell is lift your arm up and feel for lumps. If it feels like the letro is killing you physically and it isn't going anywhere try raloxifene. It is shown to be very effective for even pubertal gyno reduction.

Pain and lump are both gone but they are still puffy for some reason.

No I'm off of it. Puffiness might be due to holding fat in my chest maybe once I hit 10% bf it might go down.

                • Haven't you been the same bf% or you recently gained fat?

                  • I porbably already went on my "Use raloxifene not letro for gyno" rant in this long ass thread. Oh well Ill say the readers digest version again.
1- Raloxifene is proven in studies to be more effective than letro. It has been show to even reverse pubertal and pre pubertal gyno.
2- Ralox is safer and way more comfortable than letro.
3- Dose at 120mgs/day week 1 and 60mgs/day all weeks after.
4- If ralox does not treat your gyno nothing effectively will so surgery is your only real option.

                      I agree.
I've seen like 4 studies showing the effectiveness of serms on breast tissue. This is why they use them for breast cancer patients. It just takes a lot of time in some cases. For example pubertal gyno can take many months to reduce. I haven't used ralox myself but nolvadex has been very effective for me even though studies show ralox to be much more effective. I'd have to find it but ralox is something like 30 or 40% more effective than nolvadex.

                      • I cant speak on ralox because Iv'e never used it but what I can say chuck is that nolvadex is nowhere near as effective as letro in terms of actual gyno removal. letro ate up a lump i had completely. i was actually on nol when I developed gyno.

i havent seen anyone who has had success with letro removing most if not all of the gyno.

                        • I think chuck and I already had this debate. He held fast to the studies but I had zero luck in the past with nolva removing gyno nor is it effective for me above trt dose at combating gyno.

I don't know anything about ralox.

                          • Yeah we did previously discuss this. It has been effective for me but not everyone has a response or a large response according to the studies. AI + serm was shown to be a good route on one of the studies as well. Here are 4 of them if anybody is interested to check out.

Personally I'll save the letro for last ditch effort to avoid the crash. Always have it on hand but hope I never have to use. My lumps that started during the last cycle went completely away after a few weeks while still on using nolvadex @40 a day and continuing the adex at .4 eod.

Yea that's the theme of the whole thread. Letro is not to be used casually to prevent gyno. Not at all. It's harsh shit. I would only ever use it to remove gyno once formed.

Probably less bf surprisingly if not about the same bf.
