i am not familiar with the molasses in the place of dextrose but everything else looks good. Just a quesiton as to why you mix 2 scoops of whey with only distilled water as sodium does not come into play untill a week or two out.

House1 sent me his diet for the last few weeks leading up to his show. I copied and pasted part of it. I don't plan on cutting sodium until around the second week in April. Also, I plan on using only fresh everything (meats, vegetables etc) to ensure minimal sodium intake. I still use frozen chicken breast and vegetables for now...

While dieitng for my show i had several midterms and assignments. The best thing to do is just keep up on your work and reading and get sleep. I went out maybe once while i was dieting. The remainder of the time i was either lifting, eating/cooking, working, or doing a school related activity. Another thing is if you are so depleted than you cannot study just have another slice of your ezekial bread. I personally would just have a rice cake or two if it was so bad. You just have to work with it and do what you can.

          Good Luck Bro

First off, sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I have gotten your pm's, just seemed to keep forgetting about this thread.

I think the people that are running this show need to be beat with a bat first of all. Do they not know that preparing for a show takes precise timing? Not to mention the mental effect of changing the times around and so on.

As for my advice to you. This is what I have always done and this is what works for me, everyone is different. I have always dieted very strict preparing for a show with very little cardio. I find that with myself, the only thing that cardio does for me in such a calorie restricted state is cause muscle lose. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah - I have been pretty pissed about the whole thing. At least it worked out to my advantage in the long run. I had a few words with the guy in charge but he had several good reasons that were out of his control. The auditorium he had planned on booking burned partially down etc...

Mentally, it messed with me pretty bad but no one else I know that plans on being in it seemed that upset so, I just figured it was normal for this particular show.

I have been worried about that too. Daf2 warned me about it happening to him. I don't know how I am going to get completely around it though. I've never done a show so I guess I will just be trying things out. That was the point of doing it despite the fact that I'm not FULLY comfortable with it (is anyone ever ready for their first show mentally)?

My only major obstacle is that I am still natural so I know I will lose muscle but right now there's nothing I think I can do about it...

ya your first show, (hell, your first 10 shows) are always experiments and seing how your body responds. you just have to go with a plan and stick to it. dont keep changing shit around because then you will never know what worked. take a look at the pro's, how many times have you seen so and so come in soft or bloated and so on. even the pro's dont know 100% what works for them. you just have to stick with a plan and if it dosent work change it for your next show.

                          P.S.

I just just got back into town from my first trip to Las Vegas about 2 hours ago and I have to say that it was one of the best trips I have ever taken. I have been to hundreds of cool places during my short life. However, the fact that this city is even allowed to exist is unreal.

I had planned on starting my diet in the morning but I am going to have to make up a day and start Tuesday. I forgot to factor in the havoc the time change is wreaking on my body so I didn't cook etc when I got home. Also, I have to write a damn English paper (which I didn't touch over the weekend :D) so I will be up all night with it...

On a side note, at least my back didn't hurt very bad from sitting on my wallet on the trip home. The bastard dealers took it from me at 7am this morning while I was half asleep during a game of "Let It Ride..." (I think that I had been up for nearly 26 hours at this point - WTF)

                          :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

                              Just an update...

I am a little over a week into my diet. So far I have lost about 8 pounds. I can't really tell it anywhere except in my thighs...

I'm not too happy about that being the first place that I have lost weight but I suppose it will all happen like it's supposed to. People have said that my face looks leaner. However, I decided not to shave for the past week so they may just be crazy. I honestly can't see it in my face yet....
