Its good to see this came out to happy ending. As I read all your posts this morning ( i need to catch up, fucking school ) I started to think that telephone may have been banned. I didn't see him post, but I also was keeping up with the time table on the posts. But nevertheless, like Cory said, BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL MEMBERS. Thats the fourth time its been said now. We should always remember what the rules are on this board. Don't the point the finger at the moderators or even the owner, they have the right to whatever the fuck they want, and we bend over like little girls for them. LOL j/k guys. Seriously, our opinions are our opinions, and like its been said, "Who are we to judge?" I don't mind gays @ all! I love lesbians, i don't mind gays, If I don't mind lebsians I have no right to be double standard and flame gays. We all live equally as men and women in this country. For the people who are against gays? We can't change that, I agree with whats been said. People who are against it will eventually have to accept it. Like how its gone with blacks with civil rights and women with equal rights. But Im just saying whats everybody has been saying. Glad we all can get along!

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some room for negotiation here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev.24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

I don't understand how the Old Testament was the word of God for so long (and still is for the Jewish faith) but then the New Testament comes out and that's right...how about if another book was added to it now, would the New Testament be wrong all of a sudden?

My thoughts exactly!! If something was supposedly a sin when the old testament was written, why is it all of a sudden OK now in the new. makes no sense to me.

What a happy outlook on life! Faith in God, at the very least, gives someone hope....something seriously missing from the statement above. How sad.

Sad? Whats sad about believing in urself, and the people around you, and not something that you truly dont know exists? The bible is not proof, so please dont say that.

If you need hope, that life will get better after death, than maybe something is missing in ur life?

Cause as far as I know, this is the only life we get, and Im not gonna sit here and worry that everything I do is a sin...if Im wrong, you can laugh at me while I burn in hell, but for now, I'll continue living a guilt free life, without the worries of sin

I don't mean this to sound sarcastic, angry or anything like that, it's just out of curiosity that I ask: Why do homosexuals feel the need to display their sexual orientation?? I drive a lot and it seems like I see an awful lot of rainbow stickers lately.

Whats wrong with being proud of who you are??? Just because you are straight doesn't mean that is the "right" way !! I am bi-sexual and proud of it. I too, have thought of putting a rainbow sticker on my car because I am proud of the fact that I am openminded and love life and enjoy all that it has to offer. I think everybody should be able to live their life the way they want to and not have to worry about closeminded comments like this...
