for the record, Im gay, but I know what you mean abotu gay people acting, I dunno.. extra gay.

Does this bother you? Why shouldnt they, if it floats thier boat? I mean hell, I dont, but its no skin off my ass if a person wants to be a flamer.

I think that males across the board like to flaunt thier version of maleness. Ive seen trucks with stickers of titties, nekkid chicks, hell, even rubber scrotums hanging off the back. Thats straight guys getting down with thier straight ness. Ever see sitckers on a car saying "power by deez nutz" ?

i mean, honestly, i think it all looks silly, but its a free country.

I think it bothers you that these men act feminine. If im not mistaken it prolly makes you feel uncomfortable. >shrug< I dont know what to say becuase not alot makes me feel uncomfortable. i just dont let things bother me.

I personally think gay pride is a wonderful thing. It’s people standing up and being counted in a group that has been looked down on for simple having different ideas about who is expectable to love and share pleasure with. The HIV epidemic sadly put a unexpectedly large count on how many people were living out a gay lifestyle. What was once so deeply buried in the closet is now out of the box and can no longer be hidden or ignored. People are starting to embrace what they were once ashamed of and standing up to its ok to be who and what I am. You have to stand up and be counted for what you believe in. Things are changing in are society in regard to sexual orientation. Gay pride is simply a way to move this forward. Your seeing a lot more of this because more people are less afraid of being exposed. Hetero sexual people ware there sexuality out in the open without even realizing they do, it’s just part of everyday life and nobody even thinks twice about it. Be gay and display a little pride or hold your lovers hand in public everyone notices & stares and say why do they have to do that in public as if they should be ashamed. How do you think it would feel if every time you held your wife's hand at dinner in a restaurant or simply shared a look between each other were no words are spoken but the thought is shared and people looked at you in disgust because the didn’t approve of who and what you are. This is what gay pride is all about. We are not a small minority tucked away in some dark hole. The gay community is huge and always has been. The difference is people are not ashamed of it anymore.

stickers, they identify you as a member of a group you are proud to be a member of.

football teams, clubs, hobbies its just their right to do it.

i am just glad that people are so diverse otherwise it would be a damn boring world, and we would'nt have this thread to whore on.

each to their own and its not for me to judge.

ummm, I have a few gay friends and I agree with bounce. . .there are gays and there are FAGS. . .just like there are people of every type that overdo who and what they are. . .ie. I am a competing bodybuilder but I sure as hell don't wear those stupid ass balloon pants anymore!
In response to timbers post. . .gay pride is cool but to be honest, when I saw gay pride day in toronto for the first time that was NOT COOL. A bunch of fat, overweight gay women with their tits out. . .and the ones with good bodies stayed home and hid.. . .the guys with the ass cut out of their pants and small cocks hanging were everywhere as well. . .the ones with good bodies and some REAL PRIDE who work out and try to better themselves physically also sat it out at home. . .I think that many gays use "pride" to get past the fact that they are BUTT ugly and if they were straight they would get their ass kicked doing the stuff that they do, haha! The good looking/normal ones are at the gym or hanging at the clubs doing their thang just like every other person out there.

Its neon green, you douche

and the only time someone being gay is annoying, is when they take it to the fucking extreme. Prancing around, like tinkerbell, acting like an asshole, the whole off the wall, flames shooting of out of your ass gay isnt needed.

Self expression is fine, but some people just go to far

Homosexuality in itself is a lifestyle, and I see nothing wrong with it, I think they should be allowed to get married, I think gay couples last longer than hetero couples on any given day

I don't go in for the whole "pride" thing. I have no desire or need to display who I am. In fact, I like to be a little ambiguous when i first meet people. I think it makes you more interesting. Like a mystery. Then once you get to know people and they like you for who you really are deep down, making that transition just seems so much more natural.

Well, I think I may need to clarify the way I come across to people on an internet board as opposed to actually meeting people in the flesh!! lol..:D...I'm much more bold on the boards...I'm actually quite shy when I first meet people for real. :)

gay pride makes my stomach turn to this day, there's no need to go parading around because you like men. it's a lifestyle .. but it doesn't have to be shoved in my face.
