See this is exactly what I’m talking about, Just because I don’t believe in Christianity you condemn me to the worst place you can think of based on you religion. Well I don’t believe in Hell either so I’m not that worried. So tell me is everyone who doesn't believe in Christianity going to hell. Did everyone who lived before man invented Christianity go to Hell. Let me see now Native Americans new nothing of Christianity before the Europeans came hear so I wonder how many generations of native American are living in Hell. Lets see now the entire Middle east are not made up of Christians either so for thousands of years I guess they have all been going to hell too. Hume I don’t think my Dog is a Christian either I wonder if she is going to hell too. Oh what about Native Africa how many generations of people there are going to hell because they don’t believe in Christianity. Seems to me Hell has standing room only. I’m sorry I don’t believe in your false God but I’m not that worried.

interesting discussion here.....I think the whole thing of homosexuality is overrated....when I was in middle school, and even high school, homosexuality was a huge deal...now in college, its all over the place, I can deal with it, its not a big deal (its also funny as hell when I said a girl was hot...and a lesbian I was talking to said...Yah Id fuck her lol) I just have a problem with flauting it.)
for example....at my college, every year, or even twice a year maybe, we have these stupid "coming out" stories day...I think thats absolutely ridiculous....you never see straight people having a coming out day...If I started a meeting like this, and went up there and said...."well the moment I saw her tits, and that tight ass, I knew I was straight...." it would be a huge uproar.....there is no reason to have these "meetings"

so i guess in closing, Im just saying, do what you all think you have to do if your gay, and straight people do what we have to do...homosexuality will never go away, and straight and gay will always have to co-exist...so lets all deal with it...

Just dont flaunt it like its a big deal  ;)

I know what your saying, and part of me agrees but the other part of me says well, hang on... this is a new thing ya know? Its only been in the past 20 years or so that people have been "coming out". Its like womens revolution in the 50's, it didnt die out until the 80's and in some places it still isnt dead. I think if we give it another couple decades (and the majority of the ignorant people die off), it will become old hat. Bisexuality will be more prominent and "gay pride" wont seem as special.

i dont give a fuckin shit if you are flamin gay, butch, straight or even a hater. it just dosnt matter. if some people would transfer the energy they use to condem fellow humans on this earth to "love thy neighbor as thy self" wouldnt it be a much nicer place to live.

everybody has a right to their opinion and this is mine.
Jesus taught acceptance not hatred and its not ours to judge, life is too short to dislike someone because of the way they live or they way they carry themselves.

i have met a few fine people on this board and others who are gay. i look forward to the day i can shake cory's hand and introduce him to my wife and son. love ya brother

Some of you are really doing a great job at showing us how ignorant and hypocritical you really are. Condeming homosexuality between specifically two men, but saying it is OK between two women for one. Quoting things out of a rediculous old book of tales called the bible, which has nothing to do with the way we live our lives in the 21st century, for two. Saying that a person would choose to be gay, with all the peer pressure and isolation and rejection they are going to have to deal with all of their lives if they come out of the closet. If not, all of the pent up frustrastions they are going to have from suppressing their true selves for years. GET YOUR FUCKIN HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES AND GET THE FUCK REAL. I can value a valid opinion, but unless your asses are saints and have never sinned (if thats what you want to call it in your belief system), then your opinions are worthless on this thread, and you need to shut the fuck up and stop being hypocrites.

I would also like to remind some of you of one of the rules govening this forum, which is posted as a sticky.

                    3. BE RESPECTFUL OF ALL MEMBERS - as this board continues to grow, we will have members from all walks of life and parts of the world. Any derogatory comments regarding another forum member's ethnicity, religion, sexual preference, gender, or age will not be tolerated.

look......I sure didnt mean to offend any of the gay brothers on this board...I wasnt disrespectful at all, but voiced my opinion..you need to go back and read it again...I specifically stated that I wasnt passing judgement...as for the comment about likeing it when two women lay together.....I won't apologize for that one.....and yes I do believe the bible..which seems to be even less accepted than homosexuality in todays society......I dont however get upset when you take shots at my beliefs....I'm secure in them.....I DONT have ANY ill will toward gays....and sorry if I came across that way........

That's exactly what I meant about you coming on and saying anything AT ALL.....it's has nothing to do with the bible....it's your own personal opinion that you don't like the idea of two guys together, but it's fine for two chicks. That is also homosexuality and I'm sure if it says it's not OK in the bible, than I'm sure it means between either sex, not just men. You are entitled to your opinions and that's fine.....just keep it to yourself. I don't like alot of things people do as well, but hey, I don't want to offend anyone so I just keep it to myself.
I did not take a shot at your beliefs...I simply said don't try to act like you are all holier and thou by coming onto a thread and get in on the bashing of a lifestyle because you don't agree with it, unless what you do in your life is in agreement with everyone else. And then worst yet, using something like the bible to back you up....PLEASE!

This is something I had posted in another thread a few weeks back. All you people quoting from the bible saying homosexuality is not acceptable cuz the bible says its wrong, need to live by each and every one of these rules as well before saying another word. This is a letter evidently written to some rediculous religious guru:

                                Dear Dr. Laura

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to follow them.

                                1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

                                2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

                                3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev.15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell ? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

                                4. Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

                                5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

                                6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

                                7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some room for negotiation here?

                                8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27. How should they die?

                                9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if wear gloves?
                                10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev.24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.
