Shibby didn't kill the thread...he asked Alexei a legitimate question - although I think Alexei tried to answer it before.
As a 1st generation Hispanic-American (hate the definitions, but that's for those of you who need a category), my opinion is that I view being an American as "inclusive." that means that while I know my cultural and ethnic past, what defines me is not what I'm not but what I am. I don't need a "Cuba Day" or month to recognize the accomplishment of my ancestry. I don't need somebody to remind me that there are successful people of Cuban descent so that I feel good. If non-hispanic "whites" are the majority, so what? I don't live as a class or a race...I live as an individual.
And this individual needs to put on more muscle and eat alot better. So here I am.
