stromba, while i agree that "docuimentary" implies objective views, its not as bad as Fox news saying their reports are fair and balanced. The best mad documentaries are those that leave the answers up to the viewer, this obviously is not, that doesnt mean you should ignore the opinon....and it is far from treason Primal said it best " It is certainly not treason nor is it close to treason. He did not provide aid nor comfort to the enemy by these statements" treason is an easy law for every man to find its in the constitution.

Spike actually made an excellent point about FOXNews and their "Fair and Balanced" coverage. Who here thought that the Steroid documentary wasn't one-sided? Anyone? Of course not. It was decidely slanted. So then shouldn't they be held accountable to the same standards of making a documentary? Many people can't see things objectively sometimes until it gets pointed out to them. A documentary can be slanted and accurate at the same time. It is when certain things are witheld (every documentary tends to do this to sme point) that things can get dicey.

In the FoxNews documentary, you never heard one thing about PCT to prevent depression and imbalances of hormone levels or was it presented that out of their estimated 3 million users in the US, only a handful of people died from misuse or abuse of steroids. Even the ones that did die couldn't be medically attributed to the sole use of steroids. In Farenheit:9/11, you didn't see the part where the one Congressman said that his son is in the military and will be going to Iraq in 2 months either. It doesn't necessarily change the facts presented about how laws are passed (Patriot Act) without Congress even completely reading the bills presented or how the White House's case for war in Iraq kept morphing into new rationales or the financial ties to companies providing the weapons or the rebuild contracts there. It just shows the more favorable stuff to bolster the producer's bias.
