It would be about a 10 min drive from the stadium, but I have to pitch a certian place to eat. Thai Gourmet, in the past they were voted one of the best and I agree still to this day, plus the owner is my Thai Boxing instructor. If you like Thai food or feel like trying it while you're in town, I suggest this place above any other for this type of food.

you live in florida so you will be used to the humidity luckily. houston is cool. we always stop for the night to party on our way to the beach house.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't remember the name of the hotel, but it is a good one close to the stadium. I'll ask him and post the name.


I know we are gonna want to have a good steak for at least one dinner.

My buddy has some MLB connections so he tried to get into the hotel that the players stay at but it was full :(

the hilton is 1.5 blocks from the stadium and it's very plush. icon isn't to far either. if you get a chance, go to eat at fogo de chao - it's down on westheimer blvd. if you like to eat meat, this is the best place you will ever go. don't go crazy on the salad bar though (which is easy to do) - hold out for the meat! all you can eat gourmet prepared meat for $40 a person.

I agree with Keiser and Goliath.

You will have to eat at Fogo de Chao while you're in town. It is one of the best places I have ever eaten. The service was just as impressive as the food.

Well, you'll be close to Fogo De Chao where you are staying. While not all of the area had bad clubs or bars, there are only a slecet few that are still good, so best bet would be to head elsewhere to go out. However, I'd also say that after the Super Bowl Downtown clubs turned ghetto as well. To me Mid Town is the best place for going out to some clubs, but I guess it's all up to what you like.
