The government always has the best rocket scientists working for them. Look at all the things the military has had before the general public. Email and GPS just to name 2.

I agree. And Dr. Wernher von Braun who developed the V-1 and V-2 missiles for Hitler's Germany to try to drive Great Britain to it's knees joined the American side after the war to help develop rockets to propel us to outer space.
