Why is it that only humans are homosexual, (and I don't count some male dogs sniffing or play humping each other, or certain monkeys or apes on occasion). I mean as a total and continuing lifestyle. In this respect, all animals in the animal kingdom are smarter than humans. They know that they cannot sustain their species by humping in the same sex. If ALL humans were homosexual, there would be NO humans to be homosexual. It's not only wrong, it's definately a no no in nature. BB

Amen BB!! If being queer was a meant to be natural thing, shouldn't all species be doing it?? Obviously it is either a chemical imbalance or hormonal problem or something, but I'll never in my lifetime look at it like there is nothing wrong with it, nor will my children be taught to embrace it, so I am elated to see the laws banning gay marriage. If that's "hating" well then call me a hater!

I agree. It isn't right and my kids will be brought up to know that it isn't right, but that doesn't mean they should treat gay people any differently than anyone else, also my kids won't be playing with kids of gay people, well thats because gays can't have their own kids.

How do we know there aren't any homosexual animals? Maybe they make up a small population of their species like humans. There was a story I read about some champion race horse, war emblem or something, that they were thinking he was gay cause he wasn't banging nearly as many female horses in a year like normal horses do. If homosexuality is a chemical imbalance, then wouldn't other mammals have it as well, not just humans?

I don't really want to get into all the specifics of chemical imbalances and why people turn out the way they turn out. I personally don't think there is anything unnatural about being gay or straight. Being gay has always seemed very natural to me ever since I could remember. I was not coerced into it by anyone. It just happened just as straight people happen to turn out straight. If it was not natural, I could just snap my fingers and make myself straight, but I can't. You can choose to allow your children to associate with whomever you please, but please don't teach them to hate people because they happen to be different. Theres too much hate in the world as it is and that will inevitably lead to us destroying each other long before the world gets monopolized by gay people and the human race dies off. Even if you allow them to associate with a gay person, it's very ignorant to think that gayness is going to "rub off" on them. People are either going to be gay or not and I firmly believe that it is determined genetically at birth.

I love george bush. and for any of you to say you don't respect him is honestly a bunch of crap. you don't have to like him, but i believe you have to respect him, he is our president and he has done us good. yes our country did get attacked, but he did something about it. if you don't like what he does why don't you go into politics and see how far your smart ass goes. I do respect your basic opinion and I can see where you are coming from, but I have a problem when people's opinions sound biased and are inaccurate of facts. If a very impressionable 14 year old read opinions that were not factual and biased, they may believe it and this is how hate spreads. People only have a stereotypical view about a group of people and thats all they know so they just lump everyone in that group the same and that leads to things like hate crimes.
