Nextel is pretty cool about upgrading you when you threaten to leave. I told them i was leaving and they gave me a 1730 for $25 bucks and the 1000 min + 200 free per month for 47.99. So I stayed.

Just FYI if anyone is looking for a deal- I have Cingular with 500 minutes, free nights and weekends (nights start a 7), free long distance and no roaming- If you haven't had a cell before be very careful of roaming charges- I once made an 11 minute phone call which cost me almost $40.00- not cool. Plus Cingular offers free mobile to mobile so none of the calls my boyfriend and I make to one another come off our minutes.

And roll over minutes that is a great option.Originally posted by ponygirl

that is the exact plan I have through verizon. and there is no roaming. the only thing I don' t have is rollover but thats not a big deal to me.Originally posted by ponygirl

Cellphones are overrated. I have one, but it's strictly a pay-as-you-go phone that I only charge up with the minimum amount of minutes if I know I'll be driving out of town ( for emergencies only ). I have a friend who's company recently made a stink about the amount of cell usage, and he and everyone at he Toronto office opted out of the budgeted cell plan. He says he's never been happier; once he leaves the office for lunch or at the end of the day, that's it...they can't bother him anymore.
