Think of it this way red; in two years you won't care about what's happening now. You and Sonis should go out and have a nice dinner and NOT talk about the house for a few hours. Just be together and remember that you are both on the same team. Get through this period of time the best that you can and know that you'll have a fine house waiting for you in the end. RS, it sounds like you have the reverse situation of me and my wife. My wife just wanted to sell the house ASAP. I wanted to get as much as I could for it, so I kept countering to get the most we could out of it. She was stressing out the whole time, but, in the end, she was grateful because I got about 5k more than she would have accepted. Money is money and that money went a long way toward things for the new house. I think you guys just need to decide whos gonna deal with it and then the other person just trusts them and stays out of it--although that probably my feelings from my personal experience talking!
