Figure skaters can skate...NHL offered Greg Kovacs a Contract....Man Thats pathetic.

ITs not that you dont agree, its that your opinion is obviously bias.... and ignorant.

apparently you have obviously never stepped in and tried to hit a 90mph followed by a 75mph curveball coming towards your head

Id be willing to bet in my high school days you couldnt hold my jock strap. I would assume assume that Ive forgotten more about the game of baseball than you wll ever know.

ice skating and hitting a puck is nothing compared to baseball, compare it to running at full speed trying to catch a tailing baseball coming at you 80mph
Ive played baseball and Ive done athletic training for a couple years with hockey, and like I said the coordination and the sheer biomechanics required to be a successful hockey player are far more than that of a baseball player. Like I said before, you could not do what these guys do on the street in tennis shoes, let alone on skates.

you talk about coordination? HAH! if i went to an ice rink everyday for two weeks I could easily learn how to skate and abruptly stop
And this is the point where I end the argument, because youre obviously an uneducated kid, if you think thats all there is to hockey, Ill see you in the NHL next year.

        everybody can hit a puck
Then everyone can hit a baseball.

        [quote
you have less then a second to make your mind up about hitting a baseball[/quote]

How fast do you think a puck travels? Jesus, are you stoned?

comparing hockey to baseball is ridiculous
So is your lack of intelligence.

....i gave hockey it's credit, the goalies are the best athletes on the ice, but the difficulty isn't even comparable...NO QUESTION :moron:
Youre out of your league. Go play hockey or do some internships in the strength and conditioning department. You have no idea.

Hockey is for sissys? haha... Ive heard it all. Ive treated more broken bones, cuts, concussions, knocked out teeth, severe brusing, etc. in hockey than all other sports combined..... what an ignorant statement.

That is a funny statement about hockey. But God Son, I grew up in Texas and yes football is god, but I don't remeber the soccer players getting picked on lol. That's what the band was for. I too love football and that's my favorite time of year. But we were talking about skills here and soccer and basketball is what I have primary expierence with. And Taylor before you get on me about not knowing baseball, I had quite a few friends who played in highschool and went on to division I. Through all that I still practiced with them just for a little fun. It just wasn't for me to persue.

This is the dumbest thread. The fact is that all sports require a lot of skill in certain areas, especially at the professional level. Trying to argue that one is "harder" than another is just going to begin an endless debate; as we are witnessing now. Personally, however, I do think that hitting a baseball is much harder than hitting a hockey puck lol. And as for the quote about comparing dribbeling a soccer ball to being just as easy as a basketball. Well that is bullshit, it is far more difficult to be good at controlling a soccer ball. I suggest you go try and play some soccer and then some basketball and see which one you're better at. I'll almost gaurantee you have more success in basketball unless you have some prior eye/foot coordintation experience.

stick to the supplements, you dont know sports

if anyone here is biased, it surely isn't me because I AM GIVING ALL SPORTS credit unlike you

i'm not the ignorant one, if trying to personally insult the person your arguing with in response to every FACT the other person states like you are is considered "education" where your from, then that really speaks for itself

and as far as baseball, I'm currently playing semi-pro for the cabl...and i tried out for the chicago white sox this past tuesday....i highly doubt you were anything more then a bookworm in high school with your nose in the supp and roid books, i can't imagine someone with such adolescent insults would be spending any time on a playing field

regardless of what you want to try and argue, your precious science proves that hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do, along with just about any other unbiased fact....as u can see from the unbiased source i provided, hockey didn't even come within the top 10 of sports difficulties
