cause i think the 67'' would be a little to big for the room its going to be in. 61''is pushing it. i dont want the "sitting to close to the movie screen effect" like in the movie theater.

80"?!?! How big do these things get? Is there such thing as overkill when it comes to tv size? I keep telling myself. Someday.

Samsung came out with an 80" Plasma. But they are the only one's and I doubt this guy has one.

The problem with that TV is that it has a signal of only 780p. for an 80'' TV that is kinda weak. meaning my 1080p has twice the clearity. plus the fact that TV is a plasma and i hate plasma and LCD TV's. the picture seems pixelated to me. add to that, the tv is $40,000 dollars. lol.

Yeah it's definitely not worth it. Sony said they are getting away from the plasma cause they're not worth it to make them anymore. If Sony says that then you know they are shit. You're right though the 780p is shit on something that big. Why not just get a smaller one with 1080p for cheaper.
