Just get a Dell. The newer one Stromba has is really light weight and holds up great to being bounced around during business trips. It's much thinner than the old laptops and the keybord is a little smaller, but the clarity of the screen is amazing. Sorry, I don't know which model it is but it's enhanced for visual and audio demands.
Dell's customer service is excellent if you ever have any issues that you can't resolve on your own (my mother often needs their help and they're more patient with her than I could ever be  ).
I'm using an old laptop and it holds up to teenagers and puppies abusing it. When it gets slow, Stromba just does his magic and fixes it up. Dell's computers have always been good for us. Between the office and home we have 6 of their computers and never had any real problems with them.
