NewbieChris does have a way of talking down to people. I am thinking to myself, "is this little geek really talking to me like that". :)

Look, BabyBlues agrees with me. I told you the lease probably wouldn't be in the 500 range. 650 is going to get you a base model. For about $100 more a month you are looking at owning the car. I understand the thought of less out of pocket money per month, but the return when getting to sell the car is something many leasers don't consider.

FB, I realize that $150/month isn't pocket change. However, if I offered you $10,000 3 years from now if you paid me $150/month for 3 years...Even investing that 150/month (at 8%) you only see a return of appx. 2500 on top of you investment. So you come out $2500 ahead with buying.

I'm not trying to talk down to people. I guess I just come off that way and I'm sorry.

I can try, but I don't understand what makes me sound so pompous. Its not like I wrote..."YOU'RE WRONG YOU DUMB FUCK". I thought I simply wrote an explanation to make my point, but it doesn't seem to work.

And no, I don't think I am the know all on every topic. Just cars.
