Geez, I can't believe I overslept. I never sleep past around 9, and the one day I do.....

I was excited about the draft, had plans to get up early and start my studies and then hit the draft. I had my dog trying to wake me up at 7:30 and I just wasn't feeling it today. My friend has the weakest immune system and I believe I caught his sinus infection, so sleep was needed.

I bet my team is not so good....

        I only have 9 players?

Sorry, I am a little confused. I can't find my depth chart, only depth charts for real NFL teams.

I should have listened to you Shibby, I should have done the mock draft.

Yea, but depending on how deep your picks were set versus what was taken and what you needed to fill, it takes the best available ranking. There are only going to be 2-3 DST that will be consistent with earning points. So you can just pick something up that week.

Not usually. The reserves are most valuable for RB and WR if you try to use certain players according to match up or setting up bye weeks. That takes a lot of experience. Another main use is at draft time where you can take a chance on a rookie or a gut feeling in case of one of your main players struggles or gets injured. You will still find you are wrong the majority of time and the players you pick up the first few weeks will be a better scorer.

As long as you manage your team throughout the season the draft can be done by the computer IMO...

Yeah Fog, I had my eye on this one player but I was trying to wait as long as possible then the computer picked him for your team.

                        :sillyfu:

On that note though - does anyone remember or did anyone ever play back when it was all done by hand on paper etc? That sh*t was SO frustrating - I started playing back when it was like that maybe 12-13 years ago and I eventually quit because it was so insane. Now that it is all computerized/automated I'm much happier!!!

Btw people - today *should* be the last day to set your starting lineup/rosters for the week - season opener is tonight - woohoo!!!!

if i had to do it with pen & paper.

I didn't start playing until a few years ago.

To touch on what Foghat said about setting your roster, as long as you don't have Giants or Redskins players on your roster, you have until Sunday to make adjustments. If you do have Giants or Redskins on your roster, those players will be frozen in the position they are at now (active/reserve).
