unwanted Jews? again laughable. he wouldnt let them leave, but again what made the Jews not wanted? if we asked the world to get rid of the unwanted Mexicans or Italaians would that give us the right to gas them?

      some peoples children ((rolls eyes))
I think you'll find that initially he wanted the jews out and that gasing them wasn't his initial plan. Of course harming innocent people is wrong and for gassing them he's no better than Idi Amin, Sadam etc

        simpleton, you said it brother.

bush was born into power. given everything and helped along at every turn.

hitler was a nobody and wounded in world war 1 and went on to be one of the most powerful men ever.

no matter what kind of brainwashing you went through during your military years, bush is not a good leader and is not good for this country. i understand you are from the south but try and think the correct way for a change. :P

Well, the US joining in 1941 decidedly changed the course of the war and made the outcome inevitable, but my hat is off to the British for holding the fort in the 1st 2.5 years of the war against incredible odds. I have total respect for the British troops - they got their rear ends kicked in the initial few months until Dunkirk but I think the British bulldog was awakened during the Battle of Britain and they battled on essentially alone while the US dithered (of course, American material help was key in keeping Britain in the fight).

Hitler was a total military failure. I could go on and on about the dumb decisions he made. First, he chickened out and held back Guderian when the British were on the ropes at Dunkirk, and allowed the bulk of the troops to escape. Second, he should never have declared war on the US when Japan did. Biggest of all, Operation Barbarossa was a colossal screwup both in concept and execution, not to mention all the tactical errors he made in the Russian winter.

I think the biggest question is whether Germany would have developed an atomic bomb if the US hadn't joined the war when it did. If they had done so, the outcome would definitely be different. If not, IMHO the Russians would have defeated Germany regardless of whether the Americans joined or not, as long as Lend Lease was in place.

Hilter is kno as one of the geatest speakers and motivator's of all time and really you cannot deny that. the way he would line the stadiums he speaked in with anti-aircraft spot lights so that it looked like lights of beam holding up a ceiling of clouds in the heavens, then he would start speaking slowly and softly then eventualy be screaming at the top of his lungs, no wonder people got so inspired.
