How so many people could look at things from such a logical perspective and then appear to abandon all reason at the drop of hat. Part of it now is about raising consciousness and helping to make it more acceptable to discuss religion without it being taboo. Also make it easier to live as a non-believer and not have to be viewed as the lunatic. :D

Ha, that would be anti-theism. While I am human and can slide on that slippery slope I try not to loose my focus. I don't want to be viewed as an anti-theist, just pro-atheism. While I respect his right to pray in a public place, I also respect my right to laugh at him and ask who he's talking to :D
i think you make it hard on yourself. you obviously feel threatened because you said , "make it easier to live as a non-believer". i didn't know it was hard? :retard:

live and let live shibster. :whistle

i pretty much do what feels right to me. religion feels fake to me. but then again, if you want to pray 5 times a day, more power to ya. thats the part where you come in, i feel like you would walk up to some dude down on his knees praying and spit on him. lol
I too have always had this conflict, so I made up my own religion, I believe there is a God,Heaven, and devil, hell., But, I think if there is something as powerful as a divine all knowing spirit then wouldn't they build and updating system into it (evolution)? I mean computers get updated I am pretty sure a "GOD" would have that ability. And on the defense of things getting outdated look at stuff on earth that died off already like old technology.

I believe you do not need to go to church, you just need to be honest in life and help other's that you think deserve to be helped. It relies on eye for an eye philosophy quite heavily.

I know you will probably all think I am crazy when I say this but it is the truth and I think about it everyday:

I never believed in traditional religion especially after all the kid diddling priests. Then I got in a serious car accident and almost died, the priest came in and gave me my last prayer or watever and I was in a coma for a week during this whole time I can remember clear as day at first I felt like I was climbing up a mountain twards a light ,while dark figures were trying to pull me down. Then when I was at the light I had this unbelievable feeling I cannot describe it, like the most peaceful relaxed feeling, and I kept seeing visions of good things that had happened in my life. Then I woke up in the hospital, for awhile after that I always wanted to get back to whatever that was, I say heaven, you think what you want. Call me :wack: but it is what it is.
