First I didn't compare C5 Z06 to C6 Z06. I said an average Joe wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two cars on or off the track, you have to be a pretty damn good driver to be able squeeze out that second or second and a half time difference from a car that built very similar to the one it's racing agains.
Second you can't catch shit in your POS Nissan. C5 Z06 did a lap in 7:56 around the Nurburgring and and Nissan 350Z did a lap in 8:26 back in 2003 so let me be generous and shave 6 seconds off it's lap time since they made all the improvments to your 370Z, you are still at 8:20 and that's my friend still 44 seconds behind C5 Z06.
So doesn't matter how you slice it you can never catch a Z06 regardless of it's age. :D

6 seconds is not generous at all. the 370 went around the lotus designed test track in 1:27.5 the 350z did it in 1:31.8. only 4 seconds you would say? well the difference is the lotus test track is only 1.75 miles long. the nurburgring is 12 miles long! over a 12 mile distance the 370 would eat much more time off the 350 then 6 seconds, more like 20-25 seconds. i really think you underestimate the 370 if you think its anything comparable to a 350. a 2003 350z that set that lap time you posted only had 287 horsepower. the 2009 370z has 330. a 2009 370z would murder a 2003 350z.

oh and you might want to check your math again. you said a C5 Z06 did a lap of 7:56 and a 2003 350z did a time of 8:26. the difference there is only 30 seconds. wtf you talking about with the whole 44 second rant? lol. the difference between the 370 and a 2001 Z06 would be very close.

but even with all that horsepower the difference would only be about 20 seconds around the nurburgring not a massive 40 some seconds..

a 370 will shave 20 seconds off the 2003 350z lap time that you posted. without a doubt. it shaved off 4 seconds on a 1.75 mile track. you do the math over a 12 mile track.
