You don't have to max the bass on your system so all you hear and feel is bass in your head. I can't believe you of all people said something so stupid. :wack:
if the headphones are base heavy they are NOT audiophile headphones and the DO NOT reproduce the sound as the artist intended.

They are not simply "bass heavy' head phones. They are a commercial version of studio head phones. Regardless, the fact still remains. Just because they can reproduce ultra low bass frequencies does not mean you have to have your receiver bass maxed out. Believe me man, if you listen to a good classical cd or a real dynamically layered cd like 'the wall' you would be quite impressed by the sounds you hear compared to speakers, ear buds, or many of the over the ear headphones that go for 2-3x as much.

Also, to truly hear music 'as the artist intended' you will have pay dearly for headphones or speakers. Any speaker or headphone is some attempt to get as close as possible to the sound that is created in a multi million dollar studio.

I listened to multiple songs, like I said - the headphones can be changed around into any style of music and they are by far the best I've listened to. IF YOU WANT - they can be a subwoofer - if you want perfect studio audio, they are amazing. Just go to best buy and listen for yourself you stubborn ol fucker :D!!

those were okay - not nearly worth the money imo - these are the ones I tried

Solo Headphones - Beats by Dr. Dre by Monster

they are 170 at bet buy, around 150 online. The studio ones are insane but they are about 300 - too much for me. But those ones I posted are really worth a listen, I was very impressed.

they are nice -- i would never spend much on headphones as i am brutual with headphones --

i carry extra in my gym bag during diet as i get pissed off easy so when i cant get them untangled i rip them apart and throw them on the floor -- couldnt tell you how many sets i went through last year lol

scott I know what you mean w/my ear buds - it drives me fucking insane bro! I'll be lifting and i forget to zip up the wires like the gay cowboy hat tasle things and sure enuohg they look like a plate of spaghetti, but these headphones I just use at home / flights / in between classes what not etc .. worth it for me, I got all my school stuff payed for and I'm good to go for 3 months for lifting, so it was time to splurge and I didn't really find a PS3 game I wanted :P.

I agree but they were more of a fashion accessory/Gaga fan thing than anything else.

if you knew how to read and wanted to listen to music at like barnes and nobles cafe you could use them there - but I know you don't read. Like I said, airplanes, laptop if i don't wanna wake ppl up, and also if I'm working on music at all they are so much better than speakers.

Almost forgot I use a boombox and headphones in my car to bump beats
