I would most likely love the earbuds for workouts, I like more bass in the gym, but I can't buy the Beats until my current ones break.

My shitty $60 pair of Sony headphones crapped out last night, they just passed the year mark, and I only bought Sony because I had a gift card for the apple store and the headphones had good reviews. I hate sony.

I was going to get the beats, but after reading a ton of reviews I settled on the
Klipsch image s4, $70. I think the beats should really be in the $90-110 range, but the Dre and Monster name jack that shit up.

Do you know the warranty on the beats? The Klipsch have a 2 year, and that was also a selling point. If I am not amazed by the klipsch I might just pay for the overpriced beat shit, if the warranty is good.

I found a guy on CL that has the beat earbuds sealed in the box, he will take $100........it would be an easy return to Amazon on the Klipsch........for $100 the beats are looking good. The wire on the beats looks tough.

best buy has a set up you can listen to them.
Apple has them also and you can return them in 30 days if you dont like them. but 100 bucks sounds like a win bro get them

Hmmmm.....pretty embarrassed to give an update to this situation. I always double check things, so imagine my surprise when I am playing with my "broken" headphones and they are working perfectly........pretty dumb of me not to check the audio using something besides the crappy download that had a terrible audio rip.

So..mine still work and I have some on the way. I want the beats, but I have been reading about all the fakes that exist, the CL guy said they were given to him as a present, but no receipt. I really don't want to end up with some fake ass headphones, so I think I will pass them up.

Now the dilemma is between sending back the Klipsch without opening them, or trying them out to see if I like them better then the sony.

I love klipsch speakers - I've never heard the headphones - i have there 5.1 comp speakers they are best bang for the buck no doubt about it.

Yep, they have this beats by dr dre built into the htc one x. Whatever signal processing the algorithm does, it sounds pretty good. Most of my mp3s are recorded at 128K and there's a huge difference in sound between the iphone and the htc.
