I tried out beats headphones, some guy here at the resort had em and let me listen to them. Plugged into my phone with beats and it sounded the same as my $25 Philips headphones. Lesson as long as your phone had beats you don't need the beats headphones.

^ agreed. i have the headphones as well and when my htc firmware installed the beats audio enhancer, it automatically made them sound better.

what ones did you try there are 2 kinds. shitty ones and the good ones. have no clue the difference but I see the price difference and build quaility.
did the ones you try have a thick flat cord going to ears or regular line?

the difference was not more powerful clear sounding music. the difference was they were able to be played louder without blurring. but i can play the philips pretty damn loud. no bro, there was not a $250 difference, not even close.

untill you have listened to my phone with my headphones and then with the expensive beats ones, close your lips. :weights:

I bet the clarity and frequency response for highs and lows was exactly like your almighty phillips. :whistle

                Chug a lug

                I wouldn't pay $300 for headphones regardless...

i have no reason to defend $25 philips bro, dont give a shit about them. but the difference you would expect between $25 and $300 was NOT there. i promise you. there may be subtle differences for sure but it is not night and day like i was expecting.

I have the bose one that noise cansel for plane trips and they work great on air planes.

you can buy the ear bud style and test them out if you dont like return them. I think the ear bud kind are good but i dont have any to say one way or the other just what people say.

I also think you had it right earlyer once you upgraded to the beats phone that already bumped you quailty up so much good head phones will be not so noticable.

I once added a stereo/dvd player to a car I had and it made the speakers sound so much better it was like I had a whole new system. I think same with your phone.
