i was watching the episode of House MD where there is a swinger couple. they basically are married and have a child together but they are free to have sex with other people within boundaries. then i was talking to dna about how this guy at my work was hitting on me, trying lure me in his flirtatious ways. so dna goes "if you wanted to go to dinner with him, that's fine." and i asked why and he replies "well, it's a free meal. just don't fuck him." i personally wouldn't take on an "opportunity" like that because i "hate" leading people on.

so my question is, what do you think about the "swinger" lifestyle?

i don't mind if dna looks at other women or is nice to them. flirting is okay if i'm in a good enough mood. but as for having sex or even just going out on a date, that wouldn't be acceptable.

We created this sense of sexual possession of another person. I know there are pro's as well as con's to having an open sexual relationship. Everyone will have to choose for themselves what completes their needs. It doesn't matter if it's and open relationship, a monogamous, poly, straight, gay, bi... as you can see it all depends on personality and culture.
