i might buy one before the year's end. i'm just disappointed that apple pretty much nixed their education discount. about 2 years ago there was a discount available for everything (software, hardware, accessories) if you were a student or government employee. now it's only on their laptops and some of their ipod models.
It was a completely abused system, I can see why they took most items off. They still give one on computers, and I don't see other companies doing that at all.
