My hp laptop was the same, I selected my options and it showed up in a couple weeks. I've had it a cpl months, and wish I had just gotten a nice tablet. Lol.

have you ever used a tablet for more then just playing around with it?

i have one, first few days are cool. but then when you need to do something besides browsing and playing a game the flaws start to show. they really arent good for much besides the very basics.

i guess with lenovo and dell they dont build the computer until you order it.
Amazon sets a standard for shipping that is hard to match. I usually get things early from them.

Love my iPad. It should be perfect for all of your needs. I take mine to the table to watch Netflix, browse all over the apt, read books, etc. It excels at all of my media consumption, which is the main goal of a tablet.

I know and understand the limitations of the iPad, so I get even attempt to burn a DVD, download off easynews, connect my camera....I go to my desktop for those things.

My grandson painted my new laptop with whiteout.

I have placed him on craigslist.

Good deal, average or what? Can anyone find those same specs for a better price?

Don't want some powerhouse $2000 gaming machine. Just need a quick notebook to do what I want without lag and play HD movies or vids when I want.
I bought this exact comp for my GF off Walmart.com, picked up an Acer.... saw the machine that you did get... that one smokes =)
