I always thought I would become an "as my roommate and I put it" a "normal" guy at some point.

In my early 20's I swore I'd be done when I hit 30, would be ok being 180lbs, lean, healthy, maybe runs a bit, etc.

Nope. Who knows maybe into my 40's I will back off and be a normal guy but I dont wana be a normal guy :(

Its funny timing me and bouncer were talking the other day and he was saying about the dangers of going heavy and getting injured. I squatted five plates today and I think thats the last time I'm going to do it, its just too risky, gonna shoot for twenty reps with three plates next time I squat, see how far I can take the burn.

I don't do anything that I can't rep anymore. Everything hurts too long afterwards. Pink weights for me from now on!

Hopefully, after working up to 5 plates I actually got a small inner thigh injury with only four plates, ditched right away so no real issues I don't think.

no i wasnt saying your waist looks wide in the video. just saying that that kind of weight and movement will build the midsection.

your a big dude no doubt.

check my other thread on squats, my technique is much better now, with a perfect parralel squat there is no pressure hardly on the trunk to lift the weight so it won't build waist, if your leaning forward it will though. I'm gonna set my limit at 400lb but work with about 300lb mostly for 20 reps of so
