Every time I watch a full length movie on IMAX, I end up walking out dizzy and with a headache. It is too disorienting for me.

Have you been a newer theater to see one? Reason I ask is we saw an IMAX 3D movie in jersey at an older theater and the whole movie made me go fucken cross eyed. i walked out of there thinking this 3d imax stuff sucks.

but the place we went to recently is a brand new theater and the experience was completely different. both visual and sound. the speaker system in this theater must cost millions and millions.

Oz the Great and Powerful 3D Imax - Decent movie. Amazing visuals and sounds. Does a good job of pulling you in. Dragged on a little at the end, could have been 20 minutes shorter IMO. Biggest negative for me was the wicked witch. The actress that played her just didnt pull it off very well. The makeup on the witch was better and more scary in the original 1930's Oz.

I just saw Oz and really enjoyed it. Completely different storyline than the original, but definitely worth a watch.

I can't wait til The Great Gatsby comes out. :)

Yup, really good. I would actually like to see it again.

I loved the glinda the good witch character. just the way she was with Oz. saw right through the tricks and bullshit and he knew it and loved her for it.

You have to admit, the wicked witch just wasnt played by the right character. she wasnt even close to as scary as the original. and the face makeup was horrable. all i could think of was that movie the mask with jim carry.

between the wicked witch and it dragging on a bit after they chased the witches away, thats what gets it the B for me. rest of the movie gets an A.

I was kind of excited to see her in the movie because I like her (Mila Kunis). Her original character was barely anything, though. I don't think she was necessarily supposed to look scary, but yeah, I can see where her makeup was goofy looking.

I like Mila Kunis to and I thought she was really good in the first half of the movie. just felt like she was a really weak wicked witch.

I liked franco for the most part. certain things were a bit annoying. he kept making this weird ass big grin that weirded me out. i thought he played the con to good guy roll pretty well though yea.
