THE HOBBIT - Just a crap movie. Feels more like a shitty expansion pack to lord of the rings then a movie. Horrible pacing to the movie, takes way to long to get started and the story is basically an exact copy of lord of the rings. Even has a ton of the same exact scenes. With lord of the rings you get the impression that they sat down and said, "lets make a great movie". With this turd its like they said "let rip the story and scenes from lord of the rings and never mind about having any originality at all."

I give it a D- only saved from an F because I saw it in 3D and it looked pretty fucking good. The shire looks amazing.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE - tickets were free, so whatever. It's more of a sequel to the original story line. Some classic cheesy horror stuff, but actually not as bad as I expected.

Zero Dark Thirty - Great movie. Great acting, great pacing, interesting story. Cant ask for much more in a movie. If I have to find something wrong with the movie I guess I would say at 2 hours and 37 minutes it is a bit long for my taste. Great movie either way. Strong A!

End of Watch- Shot documentary-style, this film follows the daily grind of two young police officers in LA who are partners and friends, and what happens when they meet criminal forces greater than themselves.


I took one for the team on this one. Absolutely terrible. It was one of those moments where there was nothing on tv and it was new on demand and it looked ok. It wasn't even ok. Over an hour of driving around in a cop car and about 30 minutes of random action.
