It's based on a book series and of course the books are much better. Movie is decent, starts off pretty slow.

I read all those books, but I did not enjoy doing so haha. Too wordy or something - especially since a lot of the words were long European names.

rotten tomatoes is like turbo. they do not understand the fun factor, the action factor etc.. they only judge a movie based on its story and actors. sometimes a mindless blowing shit up movie is just what the doctor ordered..

I saw Argo. It was really good especially since it's based on a true story. Some people crying in the theater when I left but I was not on the verge of crying, didn't feel much other than the fact that it was a good movie.
