I actually feel bad for tarantino on this. Remember this is the movie that the script was leaked on a couple years ago and he had to decide to either scrap it or change it.

Then last week he got fucked by Disney because the theater venue that was supposed to show the flick for a week just prior to release got strong armed by Disney to break his contract and play only Star wars for a month straight or they would pull out and not let any of their theaters play Star wars.

Now this leak.

Creed was good. Predictable but entertaining. Cheesy at times. About what you would expect. Not as good as the hype. C+

But yea I was mixed on it. Had some genuine emotion at times but felt forced a bit. Feel like certain stories in the movie got cut. Is it just me or did it feel like they were going somewhere with that one trainer in the beginning? Like he was going to become an enemy who exploited the creed name or something. Also feel like they should have taken Rocky's sickness farther for more emotional effect.

The Hateful 8

Well acted, great dialog, but long and ultimately boring. One of those movies that's easy to get distracted by something else, have to force yourself to pay attention. I love Tarrantino films but this was not his best that's for sure. 99% of the movie takes place in a single room. That's all you really need to know. lol.

Solid C just because of the great dialog and acting. Not enough to save the overall movie for me though. I'd have never watched it had I known what I know now.
