The Revenant

It's decent just not as great as I was hoping. Plenty of bloodshed and brutality. Story isn't brilliant. Worth seeing just don't get your hopes up for something amazing. Tom Hardy was the actor of the movie for me. Not Leo's best.

See it. There are some epic scenes in it. It's worth a watch. My expectations were simply too high I guess. Same with hateful eight, I was expecting Inglorious Bastards and Django level of quality and it just wasn't there.

Spectre

By far the worst of the Daniel Craig era Bond films. Bond is always about action and sex but usually they do a half decent job of patching it all together to make a relevant story. This movie doesn't. It's just random scenes of action and sex with no real point. It's an uninspired story that had me looking at the clock 30 minutes into it.

Much better than previews made it look. Likable characters and a decent Disney/Pixar lesson about life. Genuine emotional moments. Perfect length at an hour and 20 minutes.
