How about a realistic solution like hiring security or using state and local police for security, metal detectors, cameras, locked doors, card reader access by staff only. Maybe an emergency plan with a safe room. I got to tell you the urban school districts where most gun crimes are the highest have this shit figured out. Its rare to hear about a shooting in the City schools. Guns are everywhere in these communities.
I do agree that some states gun laws and owning firearms is very weak. I certainly think if you have mental illness or history of volence it should be impossible to get a gun. I don't think there's a "one size fits all" solution.Comment
