I think we are discovering that it is easy to criticize medical personnel and people in Africa as bumbing superstitious dipshits, but when shit gets real stateside, we're not looking too hot either.

I just read another article that the second nurse was flying to another hospital to be treated. Kind of changes the story a bit putting all the blame on the cdc.

CDC: Keep borders open with Ebola-stricken countries

          Listen to this dipshit.

The people that get placed in charge of our numerous government agencies amaze me. They seriously pick the stupidest fucks. Republican or democrat, doesn't matter, we have a bunch dumb assholes leading.

Ok, something about this isn't adding up, but the dumb bitch went and tried on bridesmaid dresses with a wedding party including a 10 year old.

They knew what they were dealing with. It's just awful. :(
              Ebola:

It is EXTREMELY difficult to catch-so they are telling us...apparently you must be wearing a HAZMAT suit to actually contract it...

Per the CDC, 50 health workers were in contact with Mr. Duncan whilst he was in "isolation"... Apparently the CDC uses a far different definition of "isolation" as the rest of us if they had 50 people roaming in and out of his room throughout a week.

If you said I'll give you $1,000,000 if you can get 50 nurses to legitimately go in and out of this fellows isolation room in one week, I don't think that I could do it. I'd probably get stuck around the mid 30's.

Wtf? More amateur hour from our trusted government. I have a feeling the learning curve on this thing is gonna be painful.

I was wondering how the hell 50 people were in contact with someone on contact precautions in isolation was possible, too. He died within what...10 days? He was probably in contact with less than 15 people.

Hemorrhagic fever isn't new, but it is new for us (to have to deal with). So understandably, we didn't an exact protocol set up. But nobody appreciates bullshit, especially healthcare workers whose lives are being put at risk.

What the CDC wears to check out the scenery vs what the nurses wear taking around the clock care of these folks......hmm......
