It was frustrating at first getting used to the mechanics but now I'm really having a lot of fun with it. Tons of melee weapons and some guns too.
Yea I played it, good game. Start out too under powered though. It's actually gets easier and easier the further you get in game which is weird.

    • Yeah that's probably explains why its so fun. Getting further along and just blasting through zombies. I mean it's definitely not a story heavy, amazing game like The Last Of Us but it's plain fun and it is the season for it. Watch some walking dead the go cut zombie heads off. Holding me off just fine till Fallout. I've still got 8 other games here I haven't played yet but they can wait.

New Vegas was cool in the sense that you can kill off pretty much anyone whereas Fallout 3 certain characters couldn't die off.

I am but I'm cautious. I've been let down by a lot of the Triple A games this past year. Witcher obviously, and even MGS5. I'm still playing MGS5 and at this point I have no clue whats going on. All I know is it seems like I've been playing it for months and I'm still doing the same exact missions over and over and over. It was fun at first but it starting to feel like a joke. The fact that Witcher and MGS5 both got perfect 10 scores with so many problems really makes me question all these review sites.

Long story short. I will play Fallout 4 but I will wait a month or more after its out for the inevitable 10 gig patch that will fix the issues that comes with such a large open world game.

The issue with open world games is that there are side quests and stuff to detract from the main story. Then when you come back to the main story it's like wtf is going on?

I might restart the Witcher 3 then get Fallout 4 later as well when it gets patched. I've had a game breaking bug in New Vegas and it was about 75 hours into the game.

Yeah review sites are just one thing to go by. I like gametrailers.com they never gave a game a single 10.

                      • good points traps. i tend to play main mission and side quests back and forth so I always get fucken confused. the easy fix to that would be to just play the main missions first. the problem with that is that with a game like mgs5 the side quests are important and a must to power up your character and mother base etc.. so they force you to be confused. they need to organize the story with side quests in a certain order to avoid the mess.

                              • ‘Fallout 4’ Now Complete, 27 Different Versions Ready For November 10 Release Date

On November 10, players will return to the wasteland with the release of Fallout 4. With a little over two weeks of wait remaining, players all over the world are just days away from one of the most anticipated games of 2015. Regular cartoon videos featuring each letter of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system have continued to build anticipation over the last several weeks, and today, Bethesda had a welcome announcement about Fallout 4.

Stating that “the bombs have fallen” on the official Bethesda Game Studios Twitter account, developers announced that Fallout 4 is complete. The game, and its 27 different versions, are all content complete and will likely release on the targeted date. Basically, the game has gone gold and this last stretch before the November 10 release is merely a waiting game for players since Fallout 4 is unlikely to be delayed at this point.

In Fallout 4, players will be able to create their Vault 111 survivor, craft custom weapons, maintain a set of power armor, and event layout their own settlement. Additionally, the single player RPG lets the player recruit companions, modify their character with hundreds perks, and explore the vast wasteland of post-apocalyptic Boston. The V.A.T.S. interface is returning with a few new bells and whistles while the option to play in either first or third person will also be included.

Pete Hines, the vice president of public relations for Bethesda, further clarified on this personal Twitter account that the number of versions completed includes all platform and language combinations in which Fallout 4 will be released. The game will feature more than 10 different languages across all the different regions of release with several languages being available for one region. Considering that these will all be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the 27 different versions become evident.

No matter which platform a player chooses or what language they will play the game in, Bethesda wants you to be prepared for the Fallout 4 release date. A couple of weeks ago, the developer posted the PC requirements, console storage space required, and exact time of the game’s release to the Bethesda.net website.

Minimum personal computer requirements are listed with a few other PC-specific details. Fallout 4 players on PC can plug in and play with an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller if they choose to do so. Steam achievements will be included, and PC copies will need to be activated on Steam. According to Hines, “The disc doesn’t contain the entire game.” In the same Twitter discussion, he states that the reason Steam activation is required is to combat piracy. Not to mention, the PC version will ship on a DVD while console copies are delivered on a Blu-Ray disc.

Console players will need anywhere between 28 to 35 GB on their Xbox One or PlayStation 4 consoles for Fallout 4. The variance is attributed to the different language packs included with the game around the world. The information on Bethesda.net also notifies which languages are offered in which regions. Players looking for a particular language may need to set their console to their language preference first in order for it to be displayed within Fallout 4.

Although the game is not out yet, a season pass is already confirmed with a price of $30. Thankfully, no platform will benefit from a timed exclusive. As the Inquisitr reported, as long as the DLC is ready, players can expect to see its release simultaneously across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. There is no word yet on what kind of DLC will be made for Fallout 4. The popular creation kit for the game has also not been detailed yet.
