Level doesn't really matter. Only in the iron banner do they take the regulators off. Things are evened out for the most part in crucible to make the player skill more likely to win than a certain gun or level difference. Learning the maps and using the subclass best for pvp is what will make the difference.

I'm sure your level, armor, guns have an affect on how fast you die on those battles. I'm sure your skill matters too, but I've been playing it for a while and I got pretty good at it. But man I come face to face with a level 31, 32 guy I can unload a pretty powerful machine gun on them and won't be able to kill them but it takes one shot to kill me. With my new exotic machine gun and a pretty powerful pulse rifle playing field finally started to level a bit.

chuck i know you right about how they try to match the fps with the refresh rates BUT. how do you explain something like Last of Us remastered that is arguably the best looking game on PS4 aside from The Order. The frame rate wasnt locked at 30 and it was amazing.

Sorry for the late response, my notification emails from here have been delayed or not coming at all lately. I need to figure that out. Anyway, are you talking about the ps4 or ps3 version? Target 60fps on ps4 was attained the majority of the time. Impressive enough considering it was a ported game.

yea but it wasn't locked at 60. meaning it went up or down depending.

So I found out last week while researching a good upgrade drive that while the 3.5 external drive do work, for some reason you lose standby functionality which I'm not cool with. So in order to maintain full functionality you need to keep the 2.5" format, specifically 9.5mm thick to fit.

Just so happens that this $86 2tb drive from amazon fits the bill Amazon.com: Seagate Backup Plus 2 TB Portable External Hard Drive STDR2000102, Blue: Computers & Accessories
You just bust it out of the case and go through the format and is install and users report it works great. I ordered one up this morning so I'll update you guys once it is installed.

Edit: well it was 86 when I ordered it earlier. Its about 89 now. Still a cheap upgrade for a few years worth of worry free game installs.

Level advantages are normally disabled in the Crucible in order to have an even playing field. The two exceptions to this are the*Iron Banner*and the*Trials of Osiris, where level advantages are enabled

The difference you may be noticing are the perks of the gear or guns themselves. Like bottom half of magazine or final shot doing more damage.

Other than that it's knowing what weapon combos to use on a map. Basically how close does the map design force you to be to attack others. If it's close use a shotgun, mid range maybe a fusion rifle , further a scout rifle. Things like that.

I have all high level characters and I still get one shot killed all the time. Or so seems. A lot of those times someone else you don't see hits you at the same time.

Is the legendary stuff gear? You have to look at the light level on it. 36 light is the max you can have on a single piece of gear.You need 4 of those maxed out to reach level 32.

Do you save up strange coins and buy stuff from Xur?

You can probably find a group to take you through vault of glass raid on normal mode. That is probably your best bet to get better gear at this point if the vanguard doesn't have the stuff to buy. Factions I think are a waste of time, but that is another way to get some better legendary gear .

Alright just checked and all of my armors are light +21 don't have anything higher than that. My exotic machine gun is Hard light, 302 attack and about to get the bottom half upgrade.

If I remember correctly that would mean they are all blue uncommon gear. Definitely need purple legendary to level any further.

Auto rifle. Machine gun would be in your heavy slot.

I just got that one last week. I like it. It sounds really cool and does decent damage in pve.

You are so full of shit. I've been doing every mission, curicuble, bounties, anything and everything that gives you the highest XP points every day, for hours at a time and I'm only at level 27. You got your shit last week and already at level 31? GTFO! :slap:

I have 32 warlock and titan and a 31 hunter. It doesn't take long when you get the drops. Do you do daily events, nightly , weekly and dailies ? After 27 it isn't about xp, it's the gear.

Love my Titan...so hard for me to play warlock, but he's only at 19 :( and I need to complete the third one...hunter.

the one from the vault of glass Fatebringer is the best gun in the game. try and get it and youll love it. I was always using auto rifles until i got it.
