Make sure you do the capture a translator mission in side mission menu. It's technically a side mission but it's pretty important for the game.

FYI.. Forza 6 for xbox is getting great reviews, if you or your son like racing games it's probably the best racing game on Next Gen consoles at the moment.

Who said I abandoned. Maybe I got the game and haven't played it yet...perhaps? I'm too into destiny right now and having a blast....I'll play MGS soon. Besides the new taken king is coming out so I doubt MGS will get my attention...for now

Konami Warns Of Game-Breaking Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Bug - News - www.GameInformer.com

Konami has alerted users that there is a game-breaking bug in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain affecting all platforms. The good news is that it is avoidable, the bad news is that the conditions for creating the problem aren’t obscure at all.

If you use Quiet as your buddy in mission 29 or 42, there is a chance that your game progress will be inhibited entirely. In the interest of our extremely spoiler sensitive readers, we won’t tell you how many possible buddies there are, but it isn’t a lot.

Konami does not explicitly say that a patch is in progress to fix this problem. Further announcements are expected. As soon as we know how and when the publisher plans to address this, we’ll update you.

We’ve reached out to Konami for any additional details.

Update: Konami's European Twitter account has put a finer point on the problem. If you use Quiet in either of these missions, you may find yourself with a corrupted save file.

1-2 hour update. Drift is an awesome multi player mode and had 3 new maps. It's going to be hard to play with randoms, at least for a while. Needs communication. 1 friend and I got the new mercy rule once it was so bad until our other friends got in.

I scored in there rift 3 times, twice going backwards, and got insane points for it. At the end I had nearly 9k and the next closest guy was just over 5k.

Also, as usual a lot is left to discover on your own. A few quick things in case you are stuck with this preview content. Go to the speaker and get a new ghost to increase your light level. You will get a new blue bond from your vanguard that will have a higher light level. May have to go to orbit once to get the higher bond. If the quest for one of your current subclass didn't show up, go to orbit and switch and then it will. Tip to avoid this if you haven't done the update yet is one you first start in orbit change subclass from the one your start on before going to the tower. Having a friend or two will really help in these quests (3 especially for the last step) so you can trade orbs.

Lastly all exotics auto completed, including elder ciphers. So if you had a piece of exotic gear or gun you never got around to leveling up, all the bubbles are unlocked. You just need to pay the materials.

yea, i was interested in the game before it came out but watching the reviews and gameplay it just looks boring.

need a game with the same atmosphere but with more to do. here's to hoping the next bioshock will be something like that.

Today and every Wednesday is Arms day. Go to the gunsmith to grab weapons to "field test". Really cool guns they have today. The idea is that once you get your rep up with the gunsmith then field tests will result in a new legendary gun being given to you on Wednesday's Arms Day.

One update from my previous post; The exotic gear did not auto complete. Just the guns.
