I don't have a land line, but pay with cable and Internet around $115/$135 a month depending on my movie orders.

Really? Never had that happen. I've had people at least call to let me know they are running late or whatever, but to completely miss an appointment without even making a courtesy call to apologize is BS IMO...

That's what I'm saying scrum. I'm shocked on the no call no show, fucked up for sure. I'd be livid and wanting free months of stuff.

            • Sorry, I thought you were just being sarcastic as in "what's new, they didn't show." Yeah, I'm going to call them and see how badly they want me as a customer. I don't ahve any problems with Comcast, so it wouldn't break my heart if I were to just stay with them.

No bro was being serious. I understand the frustration because we have all been at this point; waiting for an installer to come" giving you like a five hour window period and then they don't show?!?!?!? Luckily I've yet to experience the no show part.

                • It's happening slowly but surely guys.

CBS has just announced that for the first time ever, all NFL games streaming on its website this season will be available for free and will not require authentication through a pay TV provider. This will make two regular season games and four Playoff games, including Super Bowl 50, available online absolutely free to whoever wants to watch them.

While the six game streaming schedule might seem light, this move by CBS represents a major step in the right direction. While fans could always view local games over-the-air for free with an antenna, CBS has traditionally only made the games available for online viewing to those who could login with their pay TV credentials. Perhaps CBS and other networks will continue further down this path and make all locally-aired games available online for free live streaming.

Sunday, October 4 New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins (in London)

Thursday, November 26 Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving Day)

Saturday, January 8 or Sunday, Jan 9 AFC Wild Card Game

Saturday, January 15 or Sunday, January 16 AFC Divisional Playoffs

Sunday, January 24 AFC Championship Game

Sunday, February 7 Super Bowl 50

                  • Got a call back from FIOS after a couple of days, all apologetic. Told them to go to hell. Sticking with Comcast for now. I'm getting over 100Mbps, so no issues with performance.

Comcast will set a limit beginning on October 1 of 300 GB per household per month. Customers who exceed this limit will have to pay $10 for every additional 50 GB needed after that, or sign up for an unlimited data plan for an additional $30 per month.

Considering I average close to 500gb per month this would cost me and additional $30-40 per month if I had comcast..

This is a critical moment guys. If people are willing to pay this, the whole industry will follow. Let them know that these constant additional fees and tolls are not welcome.
