Had to order a new type of leash made out of flexible mountain climber rope. She is 5 1/2 months now and she is already a stronger puller than my full grown mastiff, rottweiler, or boxer ever were. I think it's because she is lower to the ground than any of my other dogs in the past but she has the same level of musculature. It get's to be a bit of a pain with traditional leashes because there is no give in the lease, when she pulls for a squirrel, lizard, or a fish all that energy is immediately transferred into me and it's not fun. She's getting better as I've been teaching her but she's still a pup and she still has a hard time controlling herself when she spots a little animal on the trail. I call her "Honey Bull" because I believe she is a cross between a honey badger and a pitbull. lol.
Has a break strength of 1500lbs so I should be good. lol
