Another prime example of criminals will get them anyway and the prison system isnt working...todays headline here locally.. two of them already convicted felons..back on the street back with illeagle guns..
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Four people are in jail on a weapons-related arrest.
Shortly before midnight, Savannah-Chatham Metro police followed a vehicle from a convenience store at 37th and Bull streets to Montgomery and Barrington streets. The car drove into a dead end on Barrington where four people got out and tried to hide firearms.
All four suspects were arrested.
Police say two of the suspects are already convicted felons, which means it was illegal for them to have firearms.

Stop bro. Tell me you don't understand what I'm saying? You already know how I feel about all this tragedy around guns. But labeling this as a school shooting isn't accurate in terms of what the media is trying to accomplish with the headline.
This is why I don't typically comment in these threads.

Wonder if restricting guns to 21 years and above would do a damn thing?
i feel like even good people who would be a responsable gun owner might make a stupid choice as a 18 or 19 year old. Even perfect upstanding citizens all acted stupid when they were teens. Problem is, with a gun if you act stupid it ends really badly.
do i have a point here or am I off again? lol

Handgun is 21 and up. Doesn't matter. A 15 year old in Chicago can get a gun easier than a bottle of vodka.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostWonder if restricting guns to 21 years and above would do a damn thing?

Exactly right. It's like there is no willingness to try anything. Just keep things as they are and get the same results.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostSee your not even willing to reason bro. You gloss over the actual point. What happened today was a kid being stupid and now he's ruined his life and the lives of others because he had access to a gun.

I answered you questions. Can't own a handgun if you are under 21.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostSee your not even willing to reason bro. You gloss over the actual point. And us "Americans"? Are you not a citizen of the USA?
He didn't ruin his life due to access of a gun, he ruined his life because he made a choice to murder someone. I have access to plenty of narcotics, but I don't choose to use them on a daily basis. I have access to hundred of credit cards, but I don't choose to commit fraud.
Everyone is always looking for an object, policy, or other person for their poor choices. Self accountability is headed out the door and it sounds like you are perfectly fine with that.
