You moved fast. I just saw the Moto x pure edition is on sale right now. Snag a Moto X Pure Edition at up to $100 off from Motorola | Android Central

You guys think the nexus deal with Fi will last for awhile or something that will expire soon?

Seems like a deal that might linger around. Google will make more revenue on the cell plan vs hardware.

Yeah, I've had this cracked screen for a few days and was wondering whether i should wait until Nov when my contract expires, and then I saw the same thing you posted , that's what prompted my thinking that I should maybe go ahead and get it. That's when I posted here and did some googling to compare the 5X and 6P to the Moto Pure.

I thought the article I posted said it will be around until April 7 or something like that. But who knows, they may extend it beyond that.

Here is the coverage map for Fi. Seems ok in the urban areas and major freeways. But I think it all depends on the particular neighborhoods and where they have towers. My AT&T service is excellent where I am, so I am a bit concerned about quality, but I guess there's only one way to find out.

if it uses both sprint and tmobile you should be fine.

i have sprint and people said it would be terrable compared to the ATT which I had. the fact is, i drove 2000 miles across the desert and I had service 99% of the time. I have never had a single issue from Chicago to San Fransisco and that is only on the sprint network.

I'm guessing that they have new models coming soon, so the Fi deal will probably last until they run out of the older model phones.

Hey scrum, what was the total cost of your order so I know what to expect when I get it. Taxes, shipping etc..

$199 out of pocket right now. $30 when you activate. They will refund $10 if you don't use any data. So, $220 tops to test it all out for a month.

Here is my invoice. Std. shipping is free. No taxes in OR, don't know how it works in CA.

Perfect Scrum. I'm gonna get it in a few weeks.

The $20 saving each month using fi over Sprint will pay for the phone itself in 10 months. Great deal.

I'm just gonna get a new number as well, fuck the hassle of porting it.
