IMO that is still NOT enough to compensate for the BS. So i'm basically fucked because in a matter of 4 to 5 months, the new S8 will come out. So i pay near $850 for the Galaxy(i get it, it's gonna be refunded)and then i have to pay full price for a "replacement" because some chink up in asia didn't know wtf they were doing?..then the S8 comes out and im supposed to shell out even more? man fuck all that.

i spoke with someone yesterday and had a long lengthy convo about all of this. im expecting a call from them on monday.

i don't pay phones on installment, i pay full price. so im gonna pay that much money and in a few months even more? i don't mind spending money on electronics that i like, but i also don't like spending money just because, believe it or not.

Yeah it sucks that's for sure. Add on the fact that you have to keep setting up accounts and apps on new phones over and over again. I'm glad I don't try to keep up with the jonses any more. I'm keeping this S6 till it dies.

honestly the switching of phones these days have become quite easy with apps out there that basically transfer everything over, settings, apps, etc...all of it and the new phone doesn't need to be messed with.

i've loved every phone they have had. i started with their S3 and have gone up, before i was blackberry.

they need to give people who bought these phones and are obligated NOW to get another one, to somehow cut a break on the cost of the S8.

I've even offered to pay upfront or non-refundable deposit to show my commitment. not asking for a full discount, but a measly $100 or $150? man fuck all that. THIS is the kind of garbage that pushes me away from a brand; if you fuck up...own it, fix it and make it right, not just some Flintstones band-aid on the wound.

I was a blackberry guy too. Went to the original Motorola Droid and have been on Samsung since the S2.

Crazy how far phones have come in the last 10 years. I remember rooting and changing Roms on my Droid constantly just to get new features. I over clocked that bitch from 550mhz to 1100mhz. Dont even need to do any of that stuff anymore. Good times
