Did you read it? They said the carrier's are probably going to disable the imei numbers from their networks making them useless bricks. Until that point Samsung will push out annoying multiple times a day messages that you can't dismiss to return it.

Samsung is now offering $100 to buy another Samsung device.

I read it...until that happens then obviously I'll return it.

just got a call from AT&T..asking me what time im bringing their phone in lol...i honestly said i'm not:D they did say to not be surprised if and when they shut them ALL off. I said that's when I will return it.

i will say this and being that i've been looking at what phone to get(probably the newest Edge)...if i could get google's phone here soon, i'd probably jump brands for the time being. getting another phone other than what i have with samsung, is a step back for me...hence why i would consider google for the time being and who knows, maybe i'll love it that much.
