I would get rid of that POS asap. It's a safety hazard. Get a Nexus 6P. Best Android phone on the market.

Make good on this disaster. Many Galaxy Note 7 owners didn't just buy the phone -- many likely bought accessories like phone cases and charging docks. Samsung has to go beyond simply offering a replacement for its phones; it needs to make sure every one of its customers is made whole. Samsung has said Note customers are its most loyal, so it really needs to keep them happy.

Be upfront. Samsung gave a vague explanation of why the battery overheated. The company will have to be more forthright -- and specific -- the next time around.

"Samsung has to own the mistake and explain why it's not a problem for all of its products," Blanchard said. "It's possible to recover from this, but it does require some transparency."
i'm loyal, but make it right. own your shit and stop sending me emails about what if's and shit.

i just don't want to give it up for the S7, I feel like i'm taking a step back. If i were an iPhone user, i'd get the new one.

Based on its track record, that will be the Galaxy S8, which will launch sometime early next year.
              Can't come fast enough.

i did promise i'd give the phone to turbo...hopefully he still wants it, wouldn't mind seeing that little fucker catch on fire :)

i keep looking at other phones and just none are appealing to me.

I have a feeling they will be forced to push people out of note 7s from the cpsc by making Samsung disable features until people give up their useless bricks. Oculus have already disabled the note 7 from whatever involvement they had. I think you will see Samsung disabling pay, and even Google disabling the play store.

If I had to pick a phone right now I'd get the One Plus 3. Top features and cheap price.

i can see that happening as well. they can certainly give us a deadline or they will shut off...BUT, until that happens, FTW and Samsung...im riding hot:grin::panic:

right now every app is working flawlessly....we shall see.

They will want you to return it. In fact they will probably sweeten the pot and do everything they can to make you return it. They want this episode behind them and out of the minds of the public as soon as possible. The last thing they want is for another exploding phone to make the news every couple of months for the next year.

i do think samsung is going to release a patch of some sort to either disable the phones or minimize battery power like they did with the previous ones.

as of right now, i get a full refund for the device(fucker is steep)and the case I bought for $70. I also get a $25 credit towards my bill:rofl::retard:ummm$25 you say?

this will be behind them by the holidays and when the S8 comes out, they'll be back in business.

There will not be another Note. That's my prediction. The brand is damaged. Nobody will buy a Note again. They may come up with a different phablet, but it won't be called a Note.

Well the note has done great things for the brand, and ironically has brought it down.

The new edge is basically the note, but smaller and with 1 or 2 subtle differences, almost got it myself.

Which is my option now if I want this one replaced. The Note will stay and I believe that. Samsung is deep when it comes to money, brand and loyalty.

As you posted before, I know they will make it right and they have no choice. For me to leave Samsung in its entirety, would be a travesty in my household. I've got tv's, tablets, phones, refrigerator etc....and soon washer dryer as well for my condo in RI.

I am having fun with the memes and jokes they've brought upon themselves lol
