Ivanka seems to be one of the few voices of reason in Trumps world. Apparently she encouraged his calmer change of tone.

    Behind scenes, Ivanka encouraged Trump

California demands details of Trump administration immigration arrests | Reuters

Citing reports that agents for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, had gone to churches, schools and courthouses to find and arrest illegal immigrants, the legislature used the federal Freedom of Information Act to request all records of enforcement actions taken or planned since Republican Donald Trump was sworn in as president on Jan. 20.

Trump seeks 'historic' increase of 9 percent in U.S. military's budget | Reuters

President Donald Trump is seeking what he called a "historic" 9 percent increase in military spending, even as the United States has wound down major wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and remains the world's strongest military power.

I brought up sports to make a point about drawing a line in the sand. You allow them into the bathroom and the next thing you know they are screaming for their right to compete in sport. My point is all about rules and guidelines. Where does it start and where does it end?

You actually brought up the black issue in this thread about how 50 years ago they had separate water fountains and weren't allowed to drink from the white fountains. You brought this up as a comparison to the transgender issue. The problem is you are missing a very critical difference. Black people do not have a problem with reality. Black people are in fact who they believe themselves to be... they are men and women no different from whites or any other color. That is a reality. Racism and discrimination against them was a reality. This is not the same thing as people who's brains cannot identify with their physical body. It is not the same at all.

Not sure what you want me to say. The bathroom issue is straightforward imo. Sport, less so.

he already said he wouldn't support usain bolt competing against women if he suddenly "identified" as one. So I assume he doesn't support it.

He supports the bathroom option but not the sport option. I think the transgender community would argue that he is a hypocrite and discriminatory.

They should be allowed to be who they are scrum! They should be allowed to do everything the people they identify with do scrum! You are so small minded and ignorant scrum! :D
