You could be right it's an opinion. I hope your wrong though. But do you honestly think if he did things that way he would of been successfull building all the things he's built? As a construction business man...I would think he understands the importance of making sure he has the crane working properly bro.

He is into real estate, not construction. He was a little rich bitch with daddies money. I think his empire and fortune have been grossly overstated pre and post election. He seems incompetent and either follows the advice of his son-in-law, or the last person that he spoke to about an issue. He, like Obama, is not connected to the people, doesn't understand the people; therefore, doesn't represent the people.Originally posted by lipripper View PostYou could be right it's an opinion. Trump is non a self-made business man. Trump was given over a hundred million dollars by his father. He took that money and invested it in real estate and casinos and golf courses. Trump then used that leverage to borrow more and more from banks and invest in more real estate. Went bankrupt several times during this process. The casinos eventually failed and around 2008 during the housing crash his real estate business empire started to fail and American banks stopped lending him money and he was on the verge of yet another and final bankruptcy.... so he went to Russian banks.Originally posted by lipripper View PostYou could be right it's an opinion. And this is why he's going to end up getting himself impeached. Russian Banks, His son-in-law, Michael Flynn, and obstruction of justice when the FBI (Comey) was putting all these pieces together. Russia owns Trump. Russia has leverage on Trump. Trump is going down.

Elon Musk has apparently threatened to withdraw from Trump's advisory council if the US withdraws from the Paris treaty. This should get interesting.
Bottom line is the 21st century belongs to China now. We have voluntarily withdrawn from global leadership. Great work.

Who all has read this Paris agreement? I've read a few summaries and bullet points and it seems that a lot of it is "feel good" status. India wants the US to pay them and then they will follow the agreement? China doesn't need to worry about it until 2030?
I think Trump is an idiot to deny climate change, but I also think this "deal" is a bunch of political horseshit. Global effort funded by the US?

I admit I haven't. And when put like that I see it a little differently. Trump needs to do a better job of explaining exactly why he does something. If he had said what you just typed I might have stopped and thought hmm maybe he has a point.
Scrum, your thoughts on this? Kind of does sound like an out for other countries to say "ehh we will do the right thing as long as the US pays for everything and we will start doing the right thing in 20 years etc..
